Technical Assistance Services
Once your IPNA is complete, the next step is to contract for Technical Assistance Services. According to HPD, borrowers participating in the Green Housing Preservation Program (GHPP) are required to use the same firm for technical assistance services and IPNA if the fees quoted by the firm are reasonable and commensurate with the project’s scope of work. The Levy Partnership (TLP) IPNA team provides the full range of technical assistance services required by HPD as follow-on work to IPNAs.
These services include:
Development of plans and specifications
Facilitation of contractor bid process
Owner’s representative services, including leveraging utility incentives and construction services
On-site maintenance staff, owner, and resident training
One-year follow-up report
Upon completion of your IPNA, TLP will provide an itemized proposal for these services. In addition to the required Technical Assistance Services, TLP can optionally enroll eligible buildings into the NYSERDA Multifamily Performance program. This program provides incentives to building owners for meeting energy efficiency goals that align with the GHPP program.
